The Auburn Hills Public Library is happy to offer a delivery service for all homebound patrons. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the Library's materials, even if it's not possible for you to make it here.
Any Auburn Hills Public Library cardholder who is not able to come in to the Library because of physical condition is welcome to take advantage of this service. Temporary disabilities - broken bones, recovery from illness or surgery, etc - count too. There are no age requirements for the program. Don't have a library card? Not a problem. You can sign up for one at the same time that you enroll in the program.

The Auburn Hills Public Library Home Delivery Services uses thoroughly screened volunteers to deliver Library materials. We will match one volunteer to one patron. This allows the volunteer to become familiar with you and your reading preferences. You and your volunteer communicate directly with one another on an ongoing basis. You and your volunteer will set up a delivery time that works well for you. Volunteers are happy to deliver materials to your house, nursing home, or assisted living facility.
You can choose the books that are delivered to you or you can have us select books that we think you'll enjoy. Or you could try a little bit of both. There is no limit to the number of books that can be delivered to you.
